Interior designer.

I am the founder and chief designer of the Buro21 studio, where people who are in love with design and architecture work. In my opinion, one of the essential principles in the designer’s profession is constant learning and infinite improvement of one’s skills. We devote a lot of time to educational trips abroad, and participation in design seminars and courses. When working on new projects, two points are important to us. The first is a customer who has a memorable story. The second is product design!

Product designer, 3D visualizer, an expert in the production of artistic furniture and customized furniture, master of decorative and artistic furniture products creation, and technical specialist in the production of metal and glass products.

I do not have an artistic degree, but I have always had a great desire to create. Over time, this energy broadened my horizons and gave me a passion for creating products for the home. Therefore, at a certain point, I decided to study product design at European Design School, and I am satisfied with my decision every day! The opportunity to realize yourself, captivating challenges, the search for solutions, international exhibitions, communication with people who are equally passionate about their work – happiness.

In 2020, I founded my brand, The Mapico. I got inspired by a trip to the Carpathians, where I saw for the first time the process of sheep wool carpets and blankets production according to the ancient traditions of our ancestors. That’s why I’ve decided to maintain ancient production techniques and integrate them into contemporary-traditional decorative products, in which respect and love for nature are implemented.

I designed my first space for the family, then there were several more spaces that were a great commercial success. At first, there was a lot of practice and experience, I even mastered Archicad on my own. My primary education is in finance. My first teacher in the field of design is construction. There I learned most of everything I know and can do. The story about the first “single” project on the outskirts and the long way to success is not about me. The very first projects we implemented were hundreds of square meters with large budgets. My profession is what I would do in any case, even if I were an extremely wealthy person. It is my vocation.

For 8 years, I have been designing and realizing comfortable interiors for residential and public spaces in Ukraine, Russia, Greece, and other European countries with great pleasure.

I share my experience and write “Simply about design”. My mission is to create a beautiful, cozy living space that will deliver you energy, harmony and bring joy.

Since 2014, I have been patiently studying design theory, visualization, drawing, and construction life hacks. As a result, I obtained solid theoretical training, confirmed by Ukrainian and international diplomas. But let’s be honest, the theory is not always enough. Practice is the best teacher. Therefore, since 2016, I have been improving my skills in real-projects management.

I have been working at Ceramika Design for over 16 years. For the major part of this period I have been engaged in commercial activities in the production and sales of the ceramics both in the national and CIS markets.

I have always had an inspiration to create something of my own. But being a lawyer by education, I’d always felt a lack of knowledge in the field and of a competent approach to the product design, and this knowledge seemed unattainable.

The decision to complete the product design program at European Design School was spontaneous and had brought many changes.
